We are easily located in a splendid setting right next to the 15th Century Castle, belonging to King Eric of Scandinavia and Pomerania, and along the Wiper river. Our Hotel is within a few walking minutes to the town center and many cultural and architectural attractions. The Baltic Sea (distance 2.2 Km) offers plenty of fresh seaside air and fish as well as its long, secluded sandy beaches and the panoramic sunsets over the incoming waves.

Our historic hotel was built in 1740 as a bakery and guest-house for travelers. Between 2003-2005 the building underwent an extensive restoration updating it to the most modern standards in accommodation. Yet the atmosphere of creaking stairs, the ticking of old clocks, and surrounded by books and antiques; time seems to slow down and one can take a pause, relax and simply enjoy. Accompanying the cozy bar and restaurant are 14 rooms, 3 of which are apartments. Our surrounding (3000m2) grounds include a large secure parking area, a lawn & park with outdoor tables and recliners, a brick terrace and “Biergarten” and Hotel- wide free Wi-Fi. Rugenwalder Hof (Zamkowy) offers culinary specialties and accommodations for family vacations, relaxing weekends, special events (Weddings etc.) as well as for business travelers and conferences. Here you will “come as a guest” but most likely “go as a friend”.
